Has anyone noticed that most of the aftermarket parts available are the same, just from different dealers?
For example, 1 kind of clear tail lights, 1 kind of aero kit. The cars are still new, but it seems that it has been a slow go thus far. Anyone know of any new items that will be available soon?
What about a new style aero kit, or different tail lights, or smooth wheel moldings, or new grills, or even a mid boot spoiler????
Just my thoughs.

Don't forget, even though the MINI is a great car per all of its accolades in the last 9 months, it is still a relatively rare car in most areas, therefore there isn't a huge market for aftermarket accessories/parts. As sales continue to rise (this year should be a good benchmark), more will become available, but only time will tell. I think that with a car with such low volume, there seem to be many companies dedicated to getting aftermarket parts to the masses. As always, only my $0.02.

This coming from someone with a giant wing on the top of their roof. PLEASE tell me that is a model you stuck that wing on, took a picture of it, and Photoshoped the lights. I'm going to just die if you say that's actually your car!

You could always go to Barvarianauto and get the Hamann Aero kit.

Hmm... not that it would be ATTRACTIVE, but I wonder if a mid-boot spoiler would disrupt the already disrupted airflow enough to maybe help keep the hatch a little cleaner? Wishful thinking.

A mid boot spoiler would be cool to see. Nobull, would you happen to know if the site you found the spoiler on was a MINI site, or just some other site who sold body kits for everything? Any help would be great.

There are loads of kits availiable here in the UK, not trying to rub salt into wounds or anything. Perhaps because there is a market for it here more than in the US??
I have heard there is a company working on throttle bodies in the UK which alone should raise the bhp significantly and also the sound. Rooooaaaarrrrrrrrr!!!!

That spolier looks like it was frome something else and just bolted to the MINI.
It also looks upside down in the way the edges round up. Not what I pictured.
I was thinking more along the lines of the previous styled Civic's mid hatch spoiler.

Has anyone bought one?

I have been looking through some UK magazines for parts. I did notice more original parts over there than here in the US. The problem is the price and the shipping. Some have US distributors, but the price is still to much.

Do any of you have a favorite parts provider in the UK? I would love to see what they have available.

Awesome would be one word...

So would AWFUL. No offense to you, but it looks like something a 1st year design student would do or something you could screw on from your local Pep boys.

Yuck, to each his own though.

Remember the XR4Ti? That was kindof a neat-o rear spoiler. I'd like to see something tasteful for the MC/S.

How about unusual aftermarket engine mods? Almost every site has a filter, exhuast, pulley, and strut brace for sale, but what about heads or other cool stuff? Here's the list of stuff I've seen that's available and tell me if I missed anything - Air filter, pulley, throttle body, ECU, headers, exhaust, wheels. Has anyone offered other products? And what kind of intercooler is in the MINI? Is there an aftermarket replacement?
