Removing Larger Scratches?

Hi
I have noticed a slightly larger scratch on my Mini Cooper S, it is on the bumper which is obviously plastic. Looks like my kids put a school bag on it to rest
Assuming a 20mm/1 inch circle, the 2 scratches are about a 1/4 moon at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock
I am interested in your thoughts as it is a Hydper Blue bumper (dark blue) and the scratches have NOT penertrated to the black plastic underneath, but can be felt by the fingernail test.
Should I:
1. Use ScratchX as per the How To Article and apply a wax or
2. Use my touch up paint and fill
Appreciate any comments

Doing touch-up work on metalic paints is tough. It never takes on the exact same color or reflection as the original paint. It can be done, but it will probably always be visible.

Before going that route, I'd try the Scratch-X or other compounding / polishing products. Work by hand and go slowly... polish 5-10 strokes, clean away excess, examine, repeat if necessary.
