New tires steering problem

Hello all,

I did search to see if this was posted before and didn't see it specifically, but I am not that sophisticated so I apologize if it's been covered.

My stock Dunlop SP9000s hit 26,000 miles on my '03 MCS and needed replacement. Ugh. Anyway that's not why I am posting. I took it in and got 4 new Pirelli Euforias, now the car seems to be steering all over the road. Not severe, but doesn't feel like tramlining exactly, a little more than that.

In addition, when I first brought them in, one of the tires lost all pressure the next day. Shop didn't explain to my wife why, but they fixed it free and apologized. I assumed they installed it wrong. Since then the tire pressure warning light comes on every couple of days even though tire pressure is fine.

Do these symptoms mean anything to you folks? The dealer did not do the install, they are a major drive from here so I let some tire company do it that is usually pretty good.

Does it sound like they didn't install the runflats correctly, is there a trick to it?

I did read that the tire pressure light doesn't actually measure pressure, it measures something else that suggests pressure problems. Could it be trying to tell me something else? Before I bring it back to these tire guys I wanted to see if any of the real experts have thoughts...

i think your tire needs to be re-balanced first of all to rid the vibration.
I recommend places that have the Hunter Roadforce tire balancer.
If it still does not rid the vibration, i think you have a defective tire.

The tire pressure warning light runs off the abs sensors so
irregular vibrations may trigger it in error.

I think the first step is to get the tires rebalanced. G/L.
