I've heard about this company M7 that is suppose to be coming out with some really cool and light weight products for the MC & MCS. Using titanium. Their web site is still blank at http://www.m7speed.com/. Has anyone heard about this company or know anything about when and what they are coming out with?

M7 has joined forces with MINI-Madness and MINI Cooper Motorsport. The products that are in testing right now are very exciting - heads, throttle bodies, strut braces, titanium swaybars, supercharger mods, intake mods, etc.

A throttle body mod how-to should be coming up in the next couple of weeks. More to follow...

We got a chance to talk to the owner and see some of the products at our club rally last weekend. He's done a bored and tapered throttlebody that Madness is evaluating currently. Also has a smoothed (and bored? can't remember) intake and exhaust ports on the head. VERY amazing difference. The stock exhaust ports are really rough. Hmmm, what else...oh ya... working on new intake/exhaust tubing to/from the supercharger to increase flow. Looking at a standalone, electric water pump when doing a pulley reduction on the supercharger to prevent cavatation. The guy had a prototypical German accent that made everything sound cooler when he talked about it.
