I can't keep my foot out of it!

After installing my Alta intake over the weekend, I'm finding it impossible to keep my foot out of the throttle!!!!!!!!!!! The sound, the added HP, it's too much for me to handle. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when I get a new exhaust, pullie, cpu, lighter wheels, etc. Now I understand what I've been missing!

Yo '44er --

Are you sure you can feel the added horses? I always thought the CAI could add 2-3 hp max, which would seem hard to notice, if it would not be paired up with Pulley, Exhuast, etc ...

But if there is a seat-of-the-pats difference with just the CAI ..... Awesome !!

Actual dyno tests done recently prove it makes more then just a few ponies.

I just put mine on last Friday. I know what you mean...I have a feeling my MPG is gonna suck this tankful! I'm flooring it at every opportunity. I definitely feel the difference as the RPMs rise. When the tires spun going into 3rd at 6000 RPM I thought "this thing really works!"

I am in the same boat as well. Installed it about a week ago and my gas mileage definetly went down. I have a lead foot, no radio, and my window cracked even when its raining. I am hooked. I cant wait to for mods to come, I just hope I can afford them all.

if you think a cai is fun, just wait until you have the exhaust done, then the combination is simply addictive.
