Found a good place to mount XM Roady2
After searching and searching all over the Mini interior for a place to mount my Roady2 (XM radio) unit, I finally settled on a good spot. There are no smooth flat surfaces in the Mini so finding the ideal location was difficult that didn't have protruding wires, or was ergonomically challenging.
So here's the perfect spot! Just thought I'd share the tip if you've got one. I had to reverse the plastic mount that comes with the unit, and stapled some velcro strips to the mount's other side for it to work. Looks great, easy to read, and easy to get to. It fits in the hole where the plastic cover sits for a garage door opener. I just popped out the plastic cover and there's plenty of room to run wires and put a mount in there.
