Want to purchase a 05 MiniS w/LSD...Which one is fastest?

Local racer(not me) is likely going to buy one of these.
Too much $$$ out there to not give it a try.
Which option packages etc. is "THE ONE" to have for GS competition?
Does anyone know where one of these would be?
Is it still special order for the "ringer car"?
Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, asking on a national forum to get info available locally... trying to be sneaky? All MINI's are special order.

Fastest car = Cloth interior + LSD.

Best car for you = Leather + Sunroof - LSD

.....and don't forget the snappy-looking S-lite wheels and the Xenons.

I can see it now, the JCW Mini will be classed with the MCS next season and there will instantly be 100 MCS's on the market with LSD and minimal options.

Same goes for STX, if they place it in STX, the MCS is not going to have a home anywhere. Nothing will suprise me once the SEB makes their decision.

So, with all the above being said, if they place the JCW with the MCS, I'll part with mine if he's interested but it won't be until after the SEB releases their decision. Heck, I'll even throw in some 12 run corded Hoosiers so he can see what he's getting himself in to with zero camber!!!

HAHA!
Not trying to be sneaky....just seeing if someone knew where/if any of these stripper cars are sitting on a back lot somewhere..Color unimportant.
Like I said, not for me....I might $try$ out once or twice if I can make the correct dealio with the future(person is 75% sure) owner.

Mike, in 2002, MINI had some pre-spec cars come in with ONLY 17" wheels as options (my father and I took two of them, both same color).

But generally, no, the dealers make their money on the options so I'd wager you'll NEVER find a stripped one like some of ours on the lots. My car has zero options, even with vinyl for better interior resale (looks like new 40k miles later) and easy to clean.

If I become broke, like is happening, I may end up selling out of my deal and that's one place you could get one. But I'm hoping for my sake you won't see that.

BTW, I have a lucky model with -1.5 degrees front camber and 187hp at the wheels. Plus, they accidentally put a Quaife in mine (I've been sandbagging so far).
I'll sell it to you for $40,375 ($175 off for the friendship discount).

Brian

Guess nobody told Mike about the "trailer package" TSB Toyota just released.

I get my hitch (will remove under C&C) and Quaife next week
