My New Nav System

For some time now I’ve been thinking about going Hi-Tech with a Navigation system. Always having to look at maps to see what direction I’m going. To have to glance over at the seat where it sits, taking my eyes off traffic trying to read the small print. To have this big piece of paper or book on the front seat and though I’m good at it, folding the damn things is a pain in the a$$.

Well the decision has been made for me. A very good friend and person on the board made the decision for me when she bought me my new NAV system for my Birthday yesterday.

Thank you MINIclo (Clover), it’s the nicest present I’ve ever received from anyone I can remember.

It is so spot on for accuracy and direction I’m glowing when I jump in to my MCS now. Easy to read, oh you bet with the liquid screen display the letters just jump out you. I know many would want the color display but having a sight problem black and white is perfect for me and easy to install, I had it installed in no time flat.

I never ask the price of gifts because it’s past tacky to do so, but knowing it was a NAV system I had to ask because I know these things aren’t cheep. WOW was I wrong. She picked this system up for 2 and change, but did say it may have been returned for some reason. I've seen these things in local auto stores for 12 and higher. Used doesn’t bother me with a gift like this. I’ve not had a problem with it and if it had been returned I couldn’t guess why.

Thank you Clover for such a wonderful gift and I have no idea how I can top this when your Birthday comes about, but I will come up with something.

That's one high tech piece of equipment you got there! It's always nice to have good friends that spare no expense

How did you run the wires for that? Looks really neat. Does it glow in the dark?

I want one that has a bubble inside that reads my fortune!

I moved accross the country a few years ago, and I have no idea which way is north, south, east or west.

By the way, that's a slick mounting system too.

It goes on lick-it-d-spit. with no unsightly damage to the dash and wiring harness.
