Wide band O2 sensor

I just installed the new Innovate Standalone Kit (LC-1 wideband controller and XD-1 digital gauge ) --- wideband O2 sensor with digital gauge. The gauge is very thin and easily mounts on the dash fascia. The sampling rate is frequent and the A/F's are very clear. Check it out at the Innovate site:

It's been more than a day or two, but I finally got around to taking a pic of the Innovate XD-1 Digital Gauge. The ring of peripheral LED's also lights up, but is not distracting.

As I mentioned to Andy, "not enough" ---. The list of my gauges includes:

Autometer Intake air temperature (IAT)
Defi Link System:
--Oil pressure
--Oil temperature
--Water temperature
--Fuel pressure
--Boost
--Exhaust gas temperature (EGT)
--Intake manifold pressure (pending)
Indicator I light (alert to values exceeding preset limit)
Defi Heads-up display (Basic) --- rpm, mph, shift point
Innovate wideband digital O2

For total silliness, I think someone needs to add this gauge!

After checking the prices of Defi gauges, I agree.

Very cool system, though.

I prefer the NEED TO KNOW approach:

If the check engine, SES light comes on ... Then start to worry
If NOT ... Drive it like you stole it

Thanks for the compliment.

While I may have gone "overboard" with individual gauges, I know of others who are even "crazier"

Defi does make another series --- D-Gauges --- that does not use the Link System. The D-Gauges are less costly, and are outstanding in quality and appearance. If one were to get 2 gauges, e.g., Boost and Oil Pressure, then the Defi D-Gauges would be ideal. According to the Defi website, the D-Boost gauge has been discontinued, but dealers in the U.S. may still have them in stock. The 2 1/16" gauges fit perfectly in the various pods and bracket assemblies that have been developed for the Mini.

I just ordered the panel gauge; I already have the LM-1. I hope the ring of lights isn't too blingin bling.

What is the lifetime of an wideband O2 sensor on continuous duty?

If you put the gauge directly in front of you, it might be a bit bothersome. With my location, everything is fine (zero-to-micro-mini blinginess )

I really don't know the answer to the lifespan question, except to say that the Innovate system can be recalibrated. Enjoy...

No check engine lights and plenty of power, really makes that engine "swell" with power on revving

Perfect for my wants .... Still waiting for Chad to send me my re-programmed UniChip. I am running the stock ECU currently
