Drivetrain What's so great about an LSD?
if you rev it up and dump the clutch, both front tires will grab and they wont lose traction until you atempt to turn when the LSD will break free and act like a standar open diff.
If you don't know, you don't need it. (at least not for the $2,500 for parts + install!)
An LSD will help stop your inside powered (front) wheel from spinning uselessly, and deliver that power to the outside wheel which has more weight on it. Of course this is only an issue if you find yourself spinning your inside wheel upon exiting a corner.

The MCS I drove without it annoyed me every time I tried to turn right into traffic at a light. Wheelspin is something I'm neither accustomed to nor willing to accept. Spoiled due to AWD I suspect...

FWIW, I found the traction with my non-LSD MCS to be fine and even in a straight line on a decent surface:

That said, if I were turning at the time, the inside wheel would show quite a bit more speed during the "bark". I've driven LSD equipped FWD cars and the feeling is very strange being pulled through curves. They can get a little hairy though since there is less of the self-correcting behavior that an open diff gives.
Hopefully that pic combines the technical aspects with the colors, man, the colors.

There are lots of advantages to LSD but at least one drawback (and I'm not talking about unexpected flashbacks...): if the diff locks up and the wheels spin on a slick surface, the front end will go downhill, usually sideways, far easier (and quicker!) than if only one wheel spins. I've only done it with rear wheel drive, but I suspect having the front end head toward the ditch would be as unnerving as having the rear end do it.

I would get the LSD and DSC, especially if you like to drive a little harder than the average driver.
