Chime in and help - roadtrip
Ok NAM, I'm embarking on a trip across this country and I need all of your tips, suggestions, ideas, opinions, experiences, etc...
Tell me what to bring FOR THE CAR, what you've experienced, and how I can make a 6,000 mile trip easier on my car.
Here's what I've got or am going to get:
Oil
First scheduled service appointment in Denver (starting in Jerz)
Windshield washer fluid
Clear bra
Griot's bug-off
1z windshield washer fluid booster
Quick detailer
Some microfibers and cotton towels
303 aerospace
Rubber floor and boot mats
Thanks
If anyone is going to be motoring and seeing the sites in the AZ, UT, CO area at the end of july and beg. of august, send me a PM.

There are a great number of roads in AZ, UT & CO that are a blast in a Mini. Stay off the interstates. Plot your route carefully. Allow time for local experiences. I just returned from picking up my new car and having it extensively modified in Houston. Took 4 days to return to AZ via all the 2-lane roads in TX [from Galveston] to Scottsdale. It was a summer adventure.
I don't know what other states you may visit besides the three that you mentioned, but I can tell you if you come to the midwest, avoid Oklahoma and I-40 at all costs. I know, I have a MINI and I live here
The last time my MINI traveled I-40 in Oklahoma, is when I drove it back from California when the wife and I moved back to the midwest.
I-40 will turn your MINI into a rattle trap delux. If you care for your MINI, and we all should, try and drive on the SMOOTH roads when ever possible.
Have a fun and safe trip
