Exhaust Change

I have a 2005 MCS with pulley, CAI, MTH and one-ball exhaust. Will I improve HP and torque by changing to a Miltek exhaust? Is the sound better? Are people happy with Miltek?

Exhaust

I"m real happy with the Milltek exhaust the sound is unobtrusive and the unit is well engineered.

Love the Milltek! I would buy another if I had to do it all over again! You won't be disappointed!

I can't say much for the Miltek but I have a very similar setup like yours - it dyno'd around 166 - my friend with almost the same setup but with borla exaust got 10 hp more. I think the pipe size change even though it's only a quarter inch difference made those extra horses.

Trade up the exhaust is my opinion for those who can pony up the cash.

I have the Miltek on my cooper and love it to death. I hadn't heard a sound clip of it on a cooper, but heard it for the MCS and picked Miltek over the borla because I liked the sound better. You won't be disappointed.

Well, if we are tossing out dyno numbers, I don't have a base line , but had my '05 MCS dynoed after the CAI and Milltek. Here in Phoenix, in 78% humidity (very rare), I dynoed in at 157.72 whp as a benchmark.

I wish my Milltek was louder and had better craftsmanship for the $900 I spent... but I'll keep it for now.

Id get the Invidia over the Milltek if they had those out before.

Larry,

I have the Milltek cat-back and am most pleased with it. The sound is very impressive, but I'm sure the presence of the aftermarket header contributes to the overall aural experience
