anyone using sport-link with tow-link attachment?

At www.minifini.com I saw photos of their sport-link and tow-link for the MINI Cooper. Is or has anyone used the tow-link attachment to tow a trailer? What kind of trailer was towed (jetski, motorcycle, etc.) and brand-name?

Thanks

tow link ..

not only am I towing my a\c tires, I also popped for the bike rack ... and let me tell you - these are QUALITY items. a little pricey ... but well worth it.

added bonus: when the towlink or bike rack is not attached, you can tell people the turrets projecting from the back are your 20 mm gatling guns ...

seriously tho ... when you talk to the people at MiniFini, mention jerry crump - I bugged them for a long time - asking questions, etc ... no one had the thing installed ... so I just took a chance and tried them ... and very happy I did...

by the way, it's attached to a '05 MCS convertible -I tried to attach a pic, but file too large ...
trust me .... the product is worth .... spend $100 to have a wiring pigtail installed and you're ready to go ...email me privately at Wheelspnr@aol.com and I'll send you some pics.

Interesting, someone in the South TX MINI Club just bought one (tow link) 3 weeks ago. Hmmm.

I tow a small landscape style trailer with mine. Check out the pics in "my gallery" I have a couple there of the car with trailer.

The trailer came from Home Depot. Not the greatest quality but it's light, low to the ground and can handle a lawn tractor or ATV and it has a drive on tail gate.

Thanks!

I haven't bought a sport-link (yet), but with the information and pictures everyone has provided I shouldn't have any problems getting a trailer hitched up to my MCS.

Thanks!
