Well I finally did it my $500 was put down tonight and the manager at MAG Mini said production is probably last week of the month, delivery end of August begining of September.

PW/PW MC with security, rear fog, roof rack w/ bike atachment, nice and simple!

My helper guy wanted me to get cruise, but I hate cruise so I said no.

As Tom Petty says "the waiting is the hardest part!"

Congrats, rigidjunkie, on taking the plunge! You won't regret it! Nice, clean specs! I have the cruise, but have used it TWICE...LOL...as I tend to get sleepy if I'm not actually pressing down on the gas pedal!

Congrats - I love your color combo - I'm on order for Pw/Pw. I've had cruise on my last 5 cars and used maybe 3 times.

 

I like the cruise..its helps me in areas when I want to make sure I don't speed.

sounds like you know what you want. It took me forever to figure out every detail. The roof/bike rack should look cool on the PW/PW

You still have time to change your mind about your Cruise Control.
I changed a coulple of things, just as it started production, it was no big deal.
From what I've seen the Cruise Control will save on the tickets, sometimes it's easy to go faster than you think you are..

I can't imagine not getting cruise control. It's very helpful on trips in helping to rest my leg, maintain a steady speed to help prevent getting a ticket and to improve gas mileage, and it adds to the ease of selling the car. One of the few options listed in NADA or Kelly Blue Book that actually raises, (or lowers), the resale price of the car is cruise control. When you consider that you don't have to use it if you don't want to it's hard to see not having it for those long trips you'll take someday. Also, it's not cost effective to ever add it later. Hard to believe it's not standard equipment on the MINI as it is on most everything else.

I'm glad your MA tried to talk you into getting it.
