*new* MyMini Cooper S one-sided exhaust...

anyone have any experience with it?

They just ran the first 50 batch. I'm not too horny on the single tip but they will be offering a dual tip which will bolt on as well.

CORRECTION: This is a MYMINI product, not Playmini.

Actually its not a PLAYMINI - its a MYMINI exhaust.

Peter from MYMINI went out and designed his own system. I had a chance to see the prototype and it was very nice. It had just come off a MCS and those that tested it were impressed. They liked the sound quality and felt it enhanced the torque. Of course all by the seat of the pants. I know Peter wants to Dyno a car w/ the system so hopefully we will get specs soon.

I too perfer a dual tip and I know there are plans to do so (I suggested a la ANSA style) however the single tip is beautifully done.

Peter is also working on an "enclosed box" CAI using an ITG filter which should also be very interesting.

MY MINI exhaust

I saw the Tip & Exhaust , and heard it , on Petes MCSa....WOW!! It looks great, and sounds awesome. Have no fear, with his demand for quality and performance, this will be the exhaust to use....

an alternative ..

why can't the same effect be produced by essentially eliminating one of the duel mufflers and direct all exhaust thru just one ?? helluva lot cheaper than this setup . anyone try this ??

I have this exhaust. Great. I love it. Sounds really nice, and the install was the easiest thing in the world. Pete at MyMini did a great job with it.

any video or sound clips of this new exhaust? i've bought a couple things from MyMini over the last couple years and would love to deal with him again. does this particular exaust fit '03 models as well or only the new hanger style? does it have the hanging issues the other single-sided systems are having with the tip being out of alignment?
