I have seen the "word of the day" campaign in a few different places:

1) e-mail that MINIUSA sent out
2) at the bottom of the MINIUSA site
3) at my local gas station on a placard on top of the fuel pump.

A different word in all three cases.

The OS X version doesn't work on Tiger.

I tried decompiling the flash so I could make a Konfabulator widget out of it, but I can only find the words, not the definitions.

Yes it works on Tiger. But it is not a "Dashboard" widget. It is just an application wrapped around Flash.

I know it's a stand-alone app. It was crashing on my powerbook, but now seems to be working ok. It showed up partially off the screen, and when I used Exposé to try to move it around, it died.

Funny that you got that word of the day. I received an e-mail yesterday with the word of the day, but the word was Farking Spot. How can there be 2 words of the day. MINIUSA is making my head spin

It works, ran it the first day it came out (you can tell I'm checking the MINI site out every day at work!). I was frustrated, though, that it really isn't a "widget". I'm hoping the company that supplied MINI with the code make a Dashboard widget soon. They should be able to, based on what their website says.

Why not just wrap the flash inside a widget? Or is that not possible?

I just tried to sign-up in the owners lounge and cannot because my VIN cannot be found! I guess that the MCS I am driving is a fake!

I liked this one:

Farkingspot: A parking space that appears to be empty but later reveals a smaller car has parked in it.

Used in a sentence....

Someone was trying to pull into my farking spot, but I was still in it--I was rocupied with a little careoke at the time. Good thing, too! My friend had such premature co-pilotation, he actually suffered from brewnesia! Luckily, we discovered the coffee before driving off because he dumped his receipt in the cashtray.
