This is actually not a ride per se. Rather, this is a GTG Get-To-Gether event for MINI lovers and MOVIE lovers. Last year, this was one of the most FUN events of the year, and in fact, broke out into a spontaneous 'light show' - great for picture taking. Anyway, here are the facts and the details:

• Our Hostes once again is Bridget Glass, longtime MINI driver
• We will meet for dinner and grub at the SONIC drive-in at 2611 S. Broadway in Denver at about 5:15. This is just N of Yale on the West side of Bway.
• We leave for the Theatre (NW corner of S Santa Fe and Hampden) at 6:15. (The Cinderella Drive-In Theatre) `
• As before, we will line up outside the Theatre so that we can all go in and park together. Box Office opens at 6:30 for the busy summer nights. Usually, the Theatre is full.
• Sunset on July 23rd is 7:21 pm and the movie begins 5 minutes post-sunset.
• What movie is showing? Well, we don't know and won't know until Tuesday of that week. Suffice it to say that it is always a TRIPLE FEATURE so stay for one, stay for two, or stay for ALL THREE! BTW, there are two screens so there is plenty to see.
• Amenities: There are bathrooms.
• Rain: The movies go on if it rains. The projector is indoors.
• Logistics: Dress for the weather, and bring a comfortable chair. There is room to sit outside in front of your MINI since it will not take up a whole space.
• Movies decisions: We will post HERE when the movies are posted that Tuesday. Or you can call the theatre at 303-761-8232.

Folks, this is a FUN event and a relaxing one. The only Drive is from SONIC to the Theatre, about 5 minutes. Please join us for this relaxing event, then join us the next day (Sunday AM) for the "Brunch at the Broadmoor" which DOES involve a scenic drive to Colorado Springs and a nice upper-crust brunch at the Broadmoor Hotel.
