Kathy in Niagra Canada

Sorry it took so long, but at long last here are the select best pics from last weekend at Niagra Falls. Unfortunately there really arent any places to park and snap a pic and my companion on the trip isnt exactly the most fantastic digital photographer so these are just random pics that got taken along the way.

Niagara Falls rocks and the Canadian/Ontario side is mucho better than the US/NY side IMHO. We visited there July 2002 and had a blast. Been wanting to comeback to the area sometime in the near future.

Hehe, oops. I did mention I'm an engineer not a spelling major right. Typical engineering fashion, niagra with the proper margin of saftey actually becomes nnniiiaaagggrrraaa, which with just a little tweaking and a few unbased assumptions (totaly legit as long as you still multiply the answer by three) comes out to be Sydney, which as well all know is just web-speak for niagara. Er, something like that anyway, my math might be off a bit . Maybe its Prague that equals Sydney.

This is too funny. My wife and I leave in the morning for a Road Trip to Niagara Falls from DC for the weekend. Hope to have good pictures from the trip. Hope the weather is great for some lengthy motoring. Plan to take as many backroads as time allows.

If your on the canadian side, drive straight down river drive towards niagara on the lake. really nice little town and you'll see that dinky little chapel along the way. Maybe we can start a little scrapbook of mini's at the mini chapel  . Also, if your into wine's there's a whole bunch of vineyards along that road. I'm personally quite fond of the icewine's of iniskillin (sp?). Enjoy your trip, post pics.

Iniskillin (sp?) is cool. IF you go to Niagara-on-the-Lake, check out the King Henry the VIII Feast at the Buttery !

Thanks for the suggestions, too bad I didn't see them before we left.

What a great time, the weather was perfect. Got a lot of pictures but none that really show off the mini. There is a picture of me driving past the falls in the mini and if you look real close in my sunglasses you can see the dash otherwise I could have been in any convertible driving past the falls.

We did get LOTS of looks, don't think many of the tourists have even seen a mini before, let alone a convertible mini.

Didn't have time to go to the wineries, although it was on the plan. Fun place, truley a Wonder of the World.
