I just saw this on minicc.com which is Mini of Nashville's club!!!

Breaking news, I just found out that the 2005 Homecoming will be held July 23rd at 6:00. I hate to add something else to the plate so soon after everything else that's been going on. Anyway, I need all "non MINI of Nashville" MINI Drivers address' so that they can get an invitation. F.Y.I you do not need an invitaion to attend so if you do not get one for some reason don't be offended (there are over 1200 to be sent) just be here.

We had 20 something Mini's last year from Alabama. Let make it 40 Mini's this year.

I'm going up to MINI of Nashville on Friday, 5/13, and will get all the info I can. I would guess it would be similar to last year, which was a blast. Hopefully they can arrange cut rate onvernight stay at the Holiday Inn. We had breakfast at Cracker Barrel, then went for a twisty ride thru the Tennessee countryside. Great Trip/Great Fun. The difference this year is that they won't have a Convertible to show off. good fun just the same.

 

All NON Mini of Nashville owners need to get thier address to Mini of Nashville,(not me). Sorry I didn't make that clear. I had two people send me their address so I'm sorry about that. It was a fast copy /paste job so I didn't rewrite the opening post!!!

This event is coming up soon. I would love to see 40 something Mini's going to the Homecoming this year. 40 Mini's on I-65 will turn some heads. . So lets make it happen.

 

For the BAMA folks you will need to meetup at the old Walmart Parking lot (now Hobby Lobby) at the Fieldstown Rd exit on I-65 N at 11:15 a.m. to depart at 11:30 a.m. for the meetup with the Rocket City group. Be sure to bring your two way radios and cameras.

Rocket City Mini are going to meet up at 1:30 leave at 2:00 (after BAMA joins them) from the cracker barrel in athens off I-65 . That is on Hwy 72 if you didn't come last year.

 

I haven't been on line in quite a while as My MINI has been sidelined after a fender bender in Charleston SC. (thank to my daughter) Radiator ate a receiver hitch from a Tahoe as she slid to a stop Amazing ly little damage if you look, but frame tips had to be replaced as well as grill front bumper cover etc. At any rate it was undrivable due to the radiator problem and we j=had to leave it over there for repair. Now 6 going on 7 weeks later its ready to go, but alas instead of MON Homecoming I must travel to SC. to recover the car. Sorry to miss it and other recently past outings as well. oh well! maybe next time Ya'll have fun now ya hea.
