If your MINI is on the Madame Butterfly

If your MINI is on the Madame Butterfly here's an update...

It left Baltimore harbour on 5/4... it was scheduled to leave 5/5 so it must be a fast ship... right?

It is scheduled to arrive at Charleston on 5/7... let's see if it has stamina to keep up the pace.

It will discharge it's load of 110 MINI's at Union Pier Terminal.

Sat. Photo's indicate that the MINI lot has plenty of space to receive the MINI shipment.

Union Pier Terminal is located on the COOPER RIVER in Charlston... how cool is that!

Waiting is very difficult... there are only a few things that seem to make the time pass more quickly. Help me.

Thanx for the UPDATE!!

My new baby is also on the Madame Butterfly! I can't wait! I've been without MINI for over a month now and i'm having serious withdrawls!

PW/PW MCS with LSD

Hopefully she'll breeze through the VDC and be at my dealer Monday or Tuesday! My last two MINI order's only took 1-2's days to arrive at the dealer from the VDC.

I'm suprised to hear how quick the MINI's can come out of the VDC. I'm in Michigan and would expect that a car hauler would take 2 to 3 days to get here from Charleston. I might see my MINI in a week or so.

I'm monitoring arrivals at the harbour. I'll keep you posted when the Madame comes in. It might be a day early... today!... if leaving Baltimore a day early leads to that.

Well I've tried to find some good links to keep an eye on NY activity but haven't had any luck yet. It varies by port authority, city and state... and NY seems hard to get a handle on. Is it related to 9/11 data blackout or ??... I dunno.

I was trying to track Madame through every stop and hit the wall at NY. I didn't try real hard though since the final destination was observable and I could get some basic info from the WW site that owns/operates Madame.

I'll work on the latitude/longitude thing though. That would be data I could get out of a Coast Guard Navigation Light List which is available online.

If there are no problems with your car by the time it reaches the VPC, Charleston process them extremely fast. My '05 MCS was in and out of there in less than a day . I got my car in late March.

More Data... these are from the actual company that runs the terminal and they do not seem to have real time data. I will continue to check.

I'm glad to hear that... I'm slowly hitting every auto transport info site on the planet to kill time.

I intend to do just that!

Has anyone ever spotted a MINI here?

Hey, I just noticed your sig. Mines a CR/W also.

White stock wheels
CR Dash
MFSW
LSD
Cold PKG.
Sunroof
Fogs
Bonnet Stripes
Chrono
Chrome Line Interior

I distilled the spec down as tight as I could and went for bang for the buck based on my personnal needs.

Have a great time with your MINI when it arrives... we should get them before the holiday weekend so... not a bad time for them to arrive.

Nice choice!

Here's mine...

Chili Red/White Roof and Mirrors
Black Leatherette
Anthracite Dash/Trim and Headliner
Cold Weather Package
Convenience Package
Front and Rear Fogs (Wooo! Full Toggle)
DSC
LSD
Chrome Grill and Boot Hatch Handle
16" V-Spokes in White
Xenon's
Driving Lamps
Invisishield
and
Security System

I went for things I loved in my Cooper...like heated seats, fogs and things I didn't have like a FULL toggle panel!

We're moving to CT at the end of the month and will pick up my shiny new MINI at Classic while we are trekking across the country. Woooo! I can't wait for the adventure!!!
