No, this is not a shameless sales pich for MINI of Nashville... Just a good meeting point for folks heading to the Tail of the Dragon.

A gaggle of folks are preparing to depart from MINI of Nashville on Friday (05-06-2005) around noon to head east and join the festivities at Tail of the Dragon.

If anybody wants to join us as we head out to caravan eastward, please let us know so we can await your arrival and plan for how many folks are interested.

If you are driving through Nashville (even if its not Friday) on your way east to the Dragon, stop in and give the folks there a shout. They are true MINI enthusiasts and would certainly enjoy the company (plus, if you need any service on the way I'm sure they'd squeeze you in)!

Duly noted and corrected, since we can't quite get the Back to the Future edition of the MINI fired up in time to support my previous post... We will depart around noon on May 6, 2005.

Yeah the MINICC web server suffered a drive failure and Scott hasn't been able to revive it yet.

Hopefully we can resurrect something ASAP.

Anyway, glad there will be another person to add in to the mix. We hope to make the drive out a quick one, but the THP will undoubtedly be on the lookout for any speeding MINIs this weekend so that may temper our drive slightly...

 

FYI, Drew and I are going to try and meet at the dealership at 11:00 Friday morning to get a head start. Give me a shout if that won't work.

 

Wish I could make it this year. I hope any others in the area that aren't going to the dragon will consider participating in the Columbia, TN Mule Du Gras parade on Saturday. We'll meet at the memorial building on W. 7th about 5 pm.
