I'm looking for help. Here is the setup. Autocrossing a G-stock mini S. I have S05s mounted on SSR rims. However, the local site is very very rough asphalt. I'm fearfull of wasting the hoosiers and the more durable v710's aren't available. I've decided I need to buy a second set of rims, don't need to be as light as the SSRs, and a set of tires for local events. Would like to stay with R-compounds for the seat time. Tire rack as the S04s on sale at a tempting price.

What wheels would be a good second set? Has anyone bought from nzowheels? I 've called their number twice and no one has answered the phone.

What tires would you suggest for tire-eating rough asphalt? Like I said ,tire rack is making the S04s tempting, but I'm afraid on the surface they will only last one event, 12 runs. Any thoughts?

AK Tires www.aktiresusa.com says they will have replacement for the NZO Monza in the near future. It is on their website as the Nicco. They said something about the wheels being at the port but having issues with getting them through customs.

Where are you located? I am getting ready to sell a set of used NZO's. They are white and in somewhat rough shape (cosmetic only). They were only used for solo for 1 season. If you are anywhere near chicago you could get them pretty cheap.
