Help distinguish wheel size in this pic

What size wheel do you think this is? It's an enkei rp-f1 which according to another thread on this site, doesnt fit the mini in its 15 inch variant. Could these possibly be 16 inch wheels? They certainly dont look like it, but maybe thats my eyes playing tricks on me...what do you guys think?

They look like 17" wheels on a car that has been lowered... that's my guess.

Nice looking wheels

On second thought... maybe they are 16's?

Why don't you go to the web site on the cars front window and ask them?

I looks like "www.mini.ca"

That's BMW of Canada. Email them the picture and ask.

I think they are 16" based on the following pictures of MINIs with 17" rims which seem much larger.

I have seen 16" rims on a lowered MINI (1" drop) that also looked very good.

vs

Randy Webb's Red Mule with 17" Kosei K1 Racer rims

16" max, I would be very surprised if those are 17" wheels...

First picture originally looks like 15's - second at least 16.

Why the obsession with these wheels? You already know the 15's won't fit a Mini. I also know from experience that the 15's won't fit on an Integra, a car that also comes stock with 15's. Because of the nature of the problem - that the inside diameter of the wheel is abnormally small and won't clear the caliper - I can't imagine how a spacer might have any effect whatsoever.

With all the 15" wheels on the market, I think you should move on.

Not really too obssesed with them as you say. I do like the look of the wheel....and if that is what the 16 looks like, then i would definitely consider buying it. I was actually asking, because i want that look for my car, that tire:wheel ratio etc. It's a very good wheel in terms of price and weight.

I have been looking at 15's and am struggling to find any nice lightweight ones besides SSRs that fit in with my tastes.

I was just curious what size these were

Thanks everyone else for the help. I agree that there is no way they are 17's. I think they are probably 16s that look a bit smaller because of the lip construction being so thick(also the reaon the caliper doesnt fit)

I would say 15's..they look like Kosei K1 TS. Here are my old ones in 17's.

15" Enkei RPF-1s.

Light wheels, but too expensive considering that the Kosei K1-TS runs about $30 less per wheel (though the RPF-1s are allegedly about 9.8 lbs each in 15x7).

Yes, and the 15x7 Rota Slipstream is $25/wheel cheaper than the K1-TS. Appearance is subjective, and quality is very hard to judge. I really dislike the appearance of the Rota's, but think they're a very good value for a track wheel and I've never heard of a failure - as opposed to something like the Konig helium style wheel which I've seen fail frequently. The thin-spoke design in a cast wheel doesn't seem like a good idea.

I'd always wondered about the Heliums. Good thing I've been set on the 7" width! Actually, I had thought about the Slipstreams when they came out in 7". Might be time to think about them again now that Uncle Sam's bone has left my backside.

Marty

Yah 100% knew they were Enkei's and certainly thought they were 15" but supposedly due to the lip construction the 15" RP-F1's dont fit our MINIs....so i assume its a 16 and its playing a trick on our eyes?

I prefer the look of the RP-F1's over the Kosei's aesthetically....price wise they are amazing though....oh the joys of decisions

That's what I have on my car - for daily driving and autocross! No problems - yet!

The silver Koseis do not have the two patterns like the grey ones so they might be very similar to the Enkeis.

I think is the CP-o35 wheel like this
Which is 15" and is only 11 pound. Cool for racing.
