Picnic Threads

Is there any reason why the picnic threads were removed as being sticky? I had Mark sticky them so it would be easier for me to find them so I could update the food listing since I'm getting PMs about it.

It was just making updating the listing easier for me. Sorry if I incovenienced any one by asking Mark to do that for me.

Coming from someone that has moderated many forums over the past 11 years. Current events should always be stickies. That way visitors get the feel that its important and should be read and or commented on. My 2¢!

what happened?

When I see a thread un-stickied less than a week before it is scheduled to occur, I have to wonder if the event had been called off. The time for the thread to be un-stickied is after the event has occured. Did someone want to combine the theads and made a goof?

As far as I know the picnic is still on, unless that was cancelled without my knowledge since apparently they can remove stickies that way. Not sure why the threads were removed from the sticky side of things. I asked Mark to put them up there so I could find the threads easy instead of constantly having to bump them up, but that's what it looks like I'll have to do.

Oh well...one more thing for me to have to make sure of by this weekend.

I see them as being unstickied again. I guess the picnic isn't that important to upper echelon people to keep it up at the top. Mark stickied them again and they are not now. Go fig.
