Well folks it’s that time of the year again. Spring is breaking out all over. Tulips should have come and gone by this time. That damn gopher in Pennsylvania can get out of its hole for good if it wants. Snow in the low mountains should be gone. The Swallows are returning to Capistrano and will be hanging out in the trees. Base Ball has started to bore us already. Beer even seems to flow much freer…

And MINIclo is on the road migrating to the East for the MINIs on the Dragon. Yes it’s on, the spring road trip. She takes off tomorrow morning for the migration and I can only wish her luck and loads of fun.

We’ll have an eye on the journey and through MINI friends she meets along the way will keep a MINI eye on her as she travels across the US and back visiting and spreading the joy she gives us daily on the board.

Best of luck MINIclo on your trip and if you get a chance to log in let us know about your third voyage across the US to the Minis on the Dragon.

 

:smile: Thanks for the new roadtrip thread, sweetie! I've begun packing Wanda! Still need to run a few errands, but I am rarin' to go!

I'll take off on my third annual spring roadtrip from West L.A. at about 10 AM tomorrow, heading for a few days in Arizona at my sister's. As part of Wanda's second birthday celebration, she is getting new graphics by Aesthetic Creations! Mike (dragonflyer) generously offered to drive 220 miles from Phoenix to do the install! What a guy!

I will resume my blog, "MINIclo's Spring Roadtrip," and hopefully, this time, I'll try to keep it up! I had so much fun on the first roadtrip in 2003, that I stopped posting early in May, right after the first Dragon! And I didn't even try to blog for Roadtrip #2!

Stef, once I'm ready to leave tomorrow, I'll take pix of the load! I usually cover everything with a quilt or blanket to keep the rattles down and prying eyes from seeing what's in there, since so many people want to peek into our MINIs!

I tend to forget to take pix, but will TRY to remember!! LOLOLOL!!

MINIclo has made it to Arizona for the day and staying at her sisters house. She will be having some cosmetic work done on Wanda tomorrow. Not any road damage, but secret work and I’m not saying.

I noticed it, but I didn't get it. From XAlfa's photo I am assuming the band's name is the Freesia Family or The Crocuses. Pretty funny...unless they really do pop up in your yard.

It is actually a good joke, but most of us are trying to put our metal head days behind us and are pretending that we have no idea who Krokus is!

As for a party at my new place, I don't even have a couch to sit on yet, but I do have a nice large garage and driveway for the parking of many MINI's!

 

I just heard from Clover who says her cell phone died and if anyone needs to contact her use Andrew’s phone number.

They’re getting out of Dodge so to speak and heading this way in a big hurry.
You would think they just robbed the bank.

 

OK. So she’s picked YuccaPatrol up from the airport in NM and there cruising along rather fast.

They just passed the Cadillac Ranch in Texas as I was talking to them. Wanda is pissed because of road grime I’m told. I have no idea when Clover will be back online, but I’m thinking the way they’re moving, Monday night at the latest. CDT that is.

 

Update. They just left OK and should be at Andrew’s new home in Birmingham Al tonight. They might get in late, but they will make it.

It’s the one down side of her trip, the fact she’s not online while she’s on the road. Maybe that’s a good thing at the rate she posts.
