16 inch Tire Sizes
Your going to need to take into account the offset of the wheel, wheel width and brand of tire to get an accurate idea.
What I've seen is 215/45/16 Falken Azenis Sport with a 45mm offset and a 6.5 wheel width fit just barely. That doesn't mean another brand will fit in 215 though, although the Falkens are known to be a 'wider" tire.
215 as a "general statement" is as wide as you can go with stock offset and wheel width.
My advice is try to find somebody who has used a particular setup that works then copy them. Takes the risk out of the investment.
