Has anyone tried to do the sportlink install on a MCS? Was wondering what the self install difficulty level is.

It's the new bike rack system from MINI that affixes to the rear bumper. Shown on page 36 of the accessories brochure .

I would like to know how easy the installation is as well since I want to get the rack for my mountain bike.

 

You have to pull off the entire rear bumper facia.

I have not tried this.
A friend pulled the facia off to put on a trailer hitch. He said it was a 5 hour job which included an hour or so on his hitch as well as the time to remove, and replace the facia
