Why do you think it won't fit? I have the Euro parcel shelf in my 05 and know of one other person who moved it from their 02 to their 05.

I moved the parcel shelf from an 02 to an 05 and moved one from an 03 to an 05 Cabrio. Both fit perfectly......no issues

 

Put me on the list.

 

Gosh, I don't know what I was doing wrong. I took it out of the '02 a few weeks ago, and when I went to stick it in the '05 it appeared I had no hinges at the bottom that lined up with the '05. I no longer had the '02 for comparison. I checked with the parts guy, and the parts number was not changed for any year.

Anyway, it is sold.
