EDGE Motorworks Cool Dyno Days on March 26th
EDGE Motorworks Cool Dyno Days on March 26th
EDGE Motorworks announces its next Cool Dyno Days event is March 26th, 2005.
We look forward to seeing more Minis at this event, and we'll likely have a few hard core Street Modified cars on the dyno, maybe even my V8 M3 project (fingers crossed)!
For those unfamiliar, our Dyno events provide a car show atmosphere, with dyno sessions available for $85 for 3 runs with Air/Fuel and a commemorative T-Shirt. We also provide a BBQ and drinks as well as door prizes. We should have a Dent Pro on premises that day for discounted dent and ding service.
We run from 9am until 4pm (although we have been known to run until midnight!!) and we'll have products on display from Eurosport, UUC and other vendors.
If anyone is interested in doing pullies, exhaust or intakes let me know, I can look into group discounts on the products or installs if we do them that day.
We are located in Dublin, CA at:
6449 Golden Gate Drive
Dublin, CA 94568
925.479.0797
Hope to see you all there!!

I think you will buy a Mini after talking to me!

This just in! 19mm UUC Sway Barbarians in stock and on Sale!
We just received 4 UUC rear sways, 19mm with mounting hardware, poly bushings, etc. Regularly priced at $189 they are on special for $159. We will have them on display and there are a couple boxed and ready to ship!
The UUC bars are great quality, we have used them for a long time on our BMWs. The bar itself will be comparable to the H-Sport bar (not the tubular competition verson) and for the money seems even a better deal!
We can install it for $50 on Saturday if you want. Please confirm if you want it so I can hold it for you, I announced this special today and only have 2 left! (not that I can't get more)

Here is the exerpt from UUC:
"UUC Motorwerks 19mm rear sway bar is three-position adjustable and tuned for ideal street and light track handling.
Unlike larger bars which cause excessive oversteer and uncontrollable handling, the 19mm diameter is the smart driver's choice for neutral handling.
Long-term durability is assured by UUC's "best in class" alloy steel construction, protected with an attractive silver powdercoat.
Kit includes performance urethane swaybar bushings and replacement bushing brackets with a zerk fitting for easy re-greasing."

Just saw this thread now... and with it being Easter weekend and all, I've already made plans... That being said, I'm glad to have you guys in the Bay Area! I will find my way up there soon... For those going, please post your dynos here. Thanks.
I'm glad to see you guys in the area as well. I also have plans this weekend, but might get by there Saturday evening sometime. I've been wanting to dyno my car for awhile now, but had no idea where to go.

Well, they are actually THREE position adjustable. Two holes=3adjustments.
Both Outer holes
Both Inner holes
One inner, one outer
That gives you three effective lengths and therefore stiffness settings.

When would you want to use that 3rd setting you listed??
(...we have been known to run until midnight!!)
Erik,
Can I just drop in or do I need an appointment for a dyno session?
Have to bring my car to the dealer on Sat. not sure when they will be done. (driver side door won't open - climbing in and out like NASCAR
)
