im the newbie. i just bought me a 05 cooper S. and i want a aero kit/bodykit or front lip. they make em. and if so what are the websites. im havin trouble finding some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thanks

 

Are you talking about the factory aero kit, or just any body kit in general? There are places/sponsers/shops/dealers on here that offer the factory areo kit for cheaper than you would pay straight from your MINI dealer. But there are also several other bodykits to choose from. Depends on what you want.
Some names of kits outside of the factory aerokit are:

Hamann
Orciari
ZeeMax
M7 Tuning

Just have the names. There's others as well, but those are the ones that came to mind right now. Too lazy to inlcude the links. Try a search for the names and you'll come up with something in no time. You can also do a search on the 'sponser directory' link on the home page on this site. There's some more options to choose from there.

I can't recal exactly which shops have them available now a days. Just search around some MINI tuner/parts companies. Some of them are on the 'Sponser Directory' link found on the home page here. There are also some actual MINI dealers here on this site as well that offer discounts for NAM members. Sorry I don't know much more. Mainly because it's something that I haven't persued. Maybe someone else can chime in and offer a direct source. But I do know that I've seen shops that offer the factory aero kit for cheaper than what dealers charge.

Classic MINI in the sponsor directory offers NAM members a 20% discount. You still have to consider shipping costs from Ohio, but on an Aero package you should still save some significant $$.
