Stock Problems/IssuesDiscussions related to warranty related issues and repairs, or other problems with the OEM parts and software for MINI Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
So I was checking some screws on my R53's engine bay, then I started thinking it's getting warmer again I saw my ( okay ) expansion tank so far NO leaks all good. I decided questioning myself what shall I do to this? to avoid the catastrophic over heating when this thing breaks all of a sudden while driving.
Well for now this will do, atleast to hold both halves together and keep the coolant inside compared to all open broken\cracked tank with coolant gushing out. This gives me time to recover.
I am thinking of using stainless steel zip ties then crisscross it. Any better ideas? let me know.
