Well it ABOUT TIME I'm going custom tune..
my goal is ATLEAST 27psi , im currently hitting 26psi on my stock tune with a nm module but cmon I know there's a tuner out there that can pull more power out of my car than it's running now.
I want a custom tune because I want my mods dialed In and i want my car running at full potential. I do plan on tracking it very soon so im.gonna be a noob and need my car as quick as I can get it to make up for my lack of drivers skill.
heres a run down of my mods and a video showing a quick pull..
tuners , feel.free to chime in too.. lol sell me on your skills , is there more room for potential with my car ??

My buddy just took his F56 from Lou’s Stage 1 tune to a Stage 2 version, and he said it’s a completely different car. The only changes: catless down pipe and new tune files. Lou knows his stuff.
Sweet. I see Lou is still the goto dude.. well luckily I do have a laptop for tuning still with inpa ( needs to be formatted to r56 ) and it has the remote connect on it too encase I need help..
does he offer remote help if I can't forgot the inpa or figure out the downloads for something?
I can never figure out the packet downloads and how to extract files , update install ect.. lol if it doesn't directly install and update, I struggle.
I've only ever dealt with Adriancl with tuning and the man was such a huge help ! He really did wonders on my n14 r58 but unfortunately the n18 requires different **** and doing tuning across the world has its limitations.
i will message him in like a week , i just got a few things to take care of a few things first around here..
Lou will send you instructions for loading any software needed, saving log files, and loading tunes, but he can also remote into your laptop and help get everything set up for you. He is located on the east coast USA, so time zones are not as big of a deal.

Once I'm back home in like a week , literally soooooon as I get home I will put in my order though lou's website.
with my mods I HAVE to go stage 3x so it is going to be an expensive one but idc. From what I've heard about Lou I know its going to be worth it..
I can't wait to feel what this car can do when running at its full potential.
I've put alot of time into this build with no corners cut and sure i used a few budget parts but only because ice used them before wirh great success..
ima make a thread on all the budget parts I've used on this build and hopefully help others out who love to modify and make better performance but don't have deep pockets..
The best part of an actual tune over a module is that you will have more power available outside of boost. The modules are great once boost kicks in but with a tune its more powerful from the get go. Plus the throttle modulation issues are solved...and no more o2 sensor lights. If you havent replaced your clutch, you may end up needing to in the near future. My cars were quick with the modules beforehand, but after I went stage 2 I started getting clutch slip here and there. I recently started getting it with the R60 so that'll be the next "big expense"...

p.o did replace the clutch with a stage1 and upgraded pressure plate but its only a luk dmfw so WHEN it starts slipping because i dont anticipate it holding this power for long honestly, then ille switch to a lightweight smfw and stage 2x clutch , arp bolts and upgraded pressure plate too.
when you say throttle modulation, do you mean like the throttle input ??? Like how sport mode changes it ? Because honestly I HATE that. I like everything about sports mode better OTHER than the touchier throttle input. So I will request if possible to keep the stock throttle settings.
and the nm module does add to the mid range too. It does add more boost yes but it does make more boost mid range too and the car all around feels snappier even out of boost just normal driving. Imo without the module the car feels almost doggy and like a held back dogged down feeling without the module installed.
compared to the gts RaceChip and jb+ , the NM module is far superior and I have nothing but great things to say about it. It was great on a stock engine automatic r55 and just as good on my modified r58.
if i hadnt given the r55 to my daughter, id absolutely have kept and put the nm module onto that car too. Even with it being all stock and automatic I felt like it added MORE to that car than my r58 actually because it somehow makes the shifts better when under full throttle. Haha it actually is a night and day difference on the r55 and that's why I'm not putting it on there for my daughter. Her 1st car , r55 will be plenty fast for her..

The throttle modulation fix is similar to using a Sprintbooster in the sport mode, no hesitation from a stop, no dead pedal areas. Its how it should of been from factory, where the amount of pedal your press is how much the throttle plate opens up. I honestly still use my sprint booster even with the tune becuase Im picky with the throttle response.

I do know what you mean but I don't like that touchy of accelerator pedal. It makes ne wanna yoyo in 1st gear real slow speed like in a traffic jam. I also feel like it hangs rev's too much between shifts..
sprintbooster , yeesh. Did you ever look into the elitar ?? It used to be like 30$ but has gotten more known so I think the price went up but it does the exact same thing but imo looks nicer because its controller is so small and it like 1/4 the price..
maybe I might try one after my tuning too so I could get a little more throttle input but not nearly as much as sport .

I haven't tried that one yet but I got the sprintbooster used off here for a really decent price, Ill pick up the one you mentioned for the R56 to try out.
Also, Rev hang is alot less after the tune, not quite as much as it is for VWs/Audis but it is better. I dont get the yoyo issue issue myself - I dont think its that sensitive

man , yall got me so excited now..
I CANT WAIT to get home and start my order/tuning.
it's no offense to my last tuner , i just wanna do something a little differently this go around. But Adriancl absolutely did an awesome job tuning my n14 jcw and was a massive help diagnosing some issues I had too..
but with all I've read and heard about Lou, id be a fool not to give him a try. He's got a good one here to tune , I've cut no corners on this build and it has 0 , legit not one SINGLE issue OTHER than cel for catless dp so i think tuning should go smoothly.. plus it's not like we're trying to dial in methanol injection or an auxiliary fuel system which I do have injectors and a rail if needed in my manifold ..
here's a pic of my engine.
I would give him a call, his number is on his website I believe - if not I can PM you his number. I had similar issues with Gmail when I emailed him, for what ever reason it would not show up in his inbox - I have the same issue with Microsoft emails.with mine.
I got the payment tp go through, I had to use my other cc
but I guess Lou may have some personal things going on so I'm going to just sit back and give the man sone tine but atleast my payment is in so lol nothing can come up and stop me from affording it..
