I Want To Buy Warning Triangle & First Aid Kit

Hi all,

I have a question. I want to buy the warning triangle that is stored under the rear deck lid (in the boot) on non-US model MINI's, and the First Aid Kit that is stored in the left compartment in the boot. After doing a little research over at the MotoringFile website, I found what I was looking for and thought I had the correct part numbers. When I went to my local MINI parts department, the advisor said that the part numbers were incorrect. He then did a little research on his computer and said flat out that those items were not available for order through any MINI dealer in the USA . That stinks! Why can't we have them? Does anybody in the US have them in their MINI, and if so, how did you get them?

I think I will have to order them from a European dealer, or maybe check e-bay. Any other suggestions? Thanks...

I think you can get them through Canadian dealers. The US dealers can get the brackets but not the triangle. I don't think the orange triangle means the same thing in the USA. I only see them on slow moving vehicle like farm tractors or construction equipment when it is being driving on the road. In Europe it signals a vehicle in distress. I could be wrong though. People have them here so it is possible to get them some how.
