Charge pipe for supercharger

Saw this come up on my youtube feed. Thought I'd put it here. Looks like a good option for folks, depending on the price

It's pricey but I am interested.

reduced temps and increased psi resulting in +7 hp at the wheels feels like a bold claim for just a charge pipe. however, it kinda sounds feasible with the explanation of the design.

Despite being a larger diam and less of a "crush" at the mid section - I often wondered if charge pipe from an R53 automatic (wich is devoid of the restrictive "crush") would fit on an R53 manual?
Just a thought - since I've never compared them side by. side.... ( yet)...

Unfortunately, everything from this manufacturer is ultra-pricey (currently $514 + shipping for the charge pipe). And +6.5hp from simply a charge pipe change is extremely hard to believe. Given the change in volume I would also suspect a tuning revision.

Early adopter here

I have the version 1 (black) with a 63mm throttle body upgrade on my 2003 MCS. The throttle response is much more noticeable compared to my stock MC40. Yes, the 2003 has a "few" mods but there is a definite difference in driving sensation between the 2 cars. Oher than going down the cruise control retrofit rabbit hole, the MC40 will remain stock and the 2003 MCS with all of its changes will always be more fun to drive.

Only complaint is not having throttle body nuts imbedded into the unit like the OEM. You have to wrestle with the nuts on the bottom side of the throttle body. I understand the reason and accepted that when I made the purchase.

For what it is worth I am happy I installed it.

Do you think rivnuts could be used so one doesn't have to fuss with nuts on the bottom side?

I think rivnuts would break the material. I also don't think it would allow for a correct seal with the throttle body. But who knows it might work.
