front wheel bearing hub

My wheel bearing hub is going out. I thought my pads were low, because I was hearing some rubbing but upon inspection it was actually the wheel bearing hub, it has some play in it and when on jack stands I could move the wheel side to side when holding the top of the tire. I replaced them in 2023 with the lifetime replacement ones assembled by ECS tuning, but after talking with a friend I decided to order the SKF brand which also comes with a lifetime replacement, hopefully these will last longer than the current once, but I will claim the replacements from ECS tuning for spares so I don't have to wait when they have to be replaced again.

I did the left in 2021 with 150k, and the right just this past June at 182k. Both SKF. Both bought in 2021. If you see that much play, it may have damaged the speed sensors. That was the symptom on the left front.

i've used SKF bearings in a number of applications and have always been satisfied. i would take the ECS ones, get the warranty, and then sell them.

but also make sure you're not getting play from your ball joints and/or control arm bushings.
