Need Part number for a F56 Auto Trans Shift Linkage connector

As the title says. I am looking to replace a damaged shift cable end. The one that snaps on the Ball on the transmission shift lever.
This is for a 2015 F56 Mini Cooper S Automatic.
picture attached:

Hello,

These are only things i see

Looks like the end of this unit, part of that whole part. Not on its own.

The only response so far is a link to the entire shift Assembly??? $800!
Its a cable connection.. it bolts to the loop in the cable... Why does this part not exist?
It should be $20..
The one i have damaged is still usable..but the cap that hold the spring is damaged.

Help.. someone please..!!!

We have aftermarket ones linked in the $300-400 range. Its replaces the whole shifter and also fixes the spring clip issues which is linked. So you would solve two issues. https://www.reddit.com/r/MINI/commen..._i_put_her_in/

I would check a local salvage year and take it from a used one. We dont have anyone making that on its own right now.

Amazing.
I have no words.
$400? for a part that bolts on the end of a cable?
I understand the aftermarket one is the entire shifter assembly, but I dont need the entire shifter assembly.. I need the 2" piece of plastic that 'BOLTS' to the end of a cable. It looks like it was designed to be replaceable. Why is this part not available? I been able to purchase bolts for a MINI from the dealership and online places.. I dont understand.
(by the way Toyota and VW make a similar part - It dont fit a MINI, But I found one on Amazon for $11 and its made of metal)

Most OEM support parts don't make sense, but likely because the OEM only purchases said items as assemblies and not the sub-component. You may want to find out who makes that metal version for other brands and see if they can make up a MINI version, likely a small tooling change on their part. Couldn't hurt to ask.
