Aftermarket Heated Seats w/ Factory Switch?

I've done some searching through the history, but haven't had any luck. Has anyone used the factory heated seat switches with aftermarket heating elements? The aftermarket elements are two wire and the OEM plug is three. The kit I bought it like the OEM setup, Low & High. Is the thermistor built into the wiring before the seat connector or are they built into the OEM wiring inside the seat?
When I removed the factory leather covers, the heating wiring didn't appear to have any type of temperature gauge within the wiring, but maybe I missed something.

I've added aftermarket leather and it would be super clean to reuse the OEM switches.
