I folded the rear seats down and put a snow tire/wheel in the passenger side.
I restrained it with a rear seat belt.
I think it's gonna work out great.
I feel a lot more confident now about having a flat on the road.
Not only do I have 3" Drop - Fr. C/Os & R. Springs, I also have 18" x 7.5" Neuspeed rims.= 215/40 x ZR 18 Sumitomo 150+ mph tires - bought another rim, 4-way lug wrench, jack, & waited until I needed 2 new tires. BOOM ! spare tire in the back-back wedged standing up with scissors jack wedged under spare on Driver's side. . I also have JCW brakes & little 3-5 mm spacers ((no idea what size) under my 2015 F-56 S signature
Signature.
Hard to visualize, but I have not done a rear seat delete, and I'm not that small.
Even with a rear seat removed, I think there's still some carpet covered metal that might interfere.
My seat belt restrained approach is working fine; doesn't move when braking or cornering hard.
Optimistic it'll be a long term solution.
I haven't done a rear seat delete either. Do you have removable back shelf ? I do & it fits fine., a little block of 2x4 holds it away from rear. My spare stands straight up & down..
