So had my engine completely rebuilt with forged internals and all new parts. Getting what sounds like the death rattle. Only done 250 miles since the rebuild, will do some investigating but thought I’d pop a video up to see what people think. The first noice happens about 40 seconds in after the car starts from a cold start every time and the second video where driving is loud but gets a bit quieter as the car is driven. Took the rocket cover of last week and no obvious signs of wear or chain slack. Next job will be tensioner out and oil pan off to check.
