Suspension coilovers or lowering springs?

Hi about 6 months ago I bought some cheap coilovers for my r53. Old suspension was stiff and worn out. Replaced the controll arm bushings as well as top hats also. The coilovers were these Ecs Tunning . And well their horrible bottom out over the smallest bump.

You can see the wear on the spring of just how much it touches. Have them cranked all the way up too. New top hats cracked and fell through in a Matter of days. Don't really know what to do now I don't want to spend the roughly 700 bucks for other coilovers that people say can be just as bad. Was thinking lowering springs but the old shocks have over 100000 miles on them and don't work too well. Any help appreciated thanks!
