Using 12V cigarette outlet causing Passenger SRS warning

We’re taking our first road trip in the F55 and went to plug in one of those Duracell power converters to power a laptop charger and as soon as we turned it on the dash lit up a red warning saying passenger restraint malfunction. When I unplugged it the light went away. Plugged it back in and it came back. So, seems to be something with the power draw. Has anyone else experienced something like that? Can the 12V cigarette lighter outlet not supply 65W of power?
