I’ve been lurking in 2nd generation forums for a while but this is the very first post here.
Couple of days ago was a bittersweet day for me. I had to say goodbye to my 2013 R56 Bayswater that was putting smile on my face for more than 10 years. Our journey started in California. Later it acquired Canadian citizenship as I moved back to Toronto. During this time it's been to SF, LA, Vegas, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Buffalo, Boston, New York. It made it coast-to-coast on its own and left tire marks in Death Valley, Sequoia Park, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Salt Flats, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, Badlands and countless other scenic places. I have so many great memories with it.
It wasn't easy, but I decided to pull the trigger and get my hands on one of the allegedly last models that MINI is ever going to make with manual transmission. It's 2024 JCW 1TO6 edition. There are only 999 of them around the world. Looking forward to a new chapter in the book of adventures.
Here is the picture of Bayswater leaving my driveway for the last time and couple of the new JCW, which I call Black Squirrel:

Great choice! I'm an R53 guy myself but have adored every single standard MINI I have ever driven. I'm sure there are many happy miles to come, especially with that fantastically reliable B48!
