R60 Transmission disengaged
Transmission disengaged
Drove into apartment complex and after going gradually over second speed bump my transmission disengaged. No strange sounds or grinding noises and no check engine lights or anything specific to tell me the reason behind this. All gears are set to neutral mode, had to park with emergency break.
I checked both axles and they’re in good condition. I removed the transmission to take a look inside as well, and it looks good. No large metal shaving or otherwise. Just minor debris in the filter, but nothing that says hello I’m the problem.
I checked the electrical connections that go to the transmission and they were intact and not dirty with oil otherwise. And the torque converter look good too no discoloration. Transmission fluid was dirty as could be expected without anything abnormal.
My currant lead could be the Transmission Connector Unit/Module but uncertain about it.
Has anyone had this happen or might have an idea for me to follow up on?
My other option is to possibly get a different transmission and see what happens 😅
