A. Take the door panel off again and find where it fell off of
B. Throw the clip in the woods and never speak of it again
C. Throw it in the glove compartment and wait until you have to take the door off again someday far away

This is my own car of course. Its in the glove box for now

Door panel isn't so bad so I'd do "A".

If it was a screw to the stereo/speedo, definitely "C"

oh man, guess Im not doing a stereo if the door panel was a minor pain for me. It was the 1st time it was out I think and was super tight to pull off the 1st time. I was sure I missed a screw somewhere, but I didnt.
I pulled it off again once when I forgot and it seemed easier, but for 1 I was like f' it, everything seems tight.

Once everything else is done, an android stereo is on the list of projects tho, so Ill get in there at some point.

It's only the two screws on the top of the dash that are a pain in the @ss. Lost a few torx bits in that black hole too.

D. Drive around a while and see if there is a new squeak or rattle coming from the door or not, if not - save the clip for next time you take the panel off. If there is and you know it will drive you nuts - take the panel off and put it where it came from.

Those two in the vent are a bugger to get out/in. I have a tiny telescoping magnet that was my best friend when I did mine.
