Failing battery cause head unit issues?
Can a failing battery cause the head unit to be stuck in a boot loop, even if the car runs fine otherwise? Or is the head unit pooched? This happened coincidentally with a carplay module install so I'm not sure if it's related. Disconnecting the car battery for ~5mins fixed it once and everything was working, but then it started doing it again the next day (stuck in boot loop). Now a disconnect doesn't fix it. This is a 2015 MCS.
How can I tell if the NBT module is fried?
(posted in the audio forum as well, but not much action there)

Problem solved. For anyone in the future, Replaced the NBT unit, it will work without coding, but you won't have your options (Nav) until it's done. If you get NO SIGNAL, check your connections.
