F54 stuck right barn door -- F54 2016 Clubman S
Hi, folks --
Last week the right barn door on our 2016 Clubman S began making a double-clicking sound before opening and shortly thereafter refused to open at all. It still clicks, but that's about all.
I've been searching for info about this and would appreciate any guidance anyone might have that would enable me to open the door so I can replace the lock mechanism. (I did find the post on this site regarding trying to wrestle the panel off with the door closed, but I'm hoping some other solution has emerged.)
Thanks very much for any help on this -- and many thanks for all the terrific info via this forum over the years!

Thanks for the links. I've given both approaches a shot.
The bent-pick seemed like an easy thing to attempt, but despite fashioning several picks to try at various angles and locations, I wasn't able to find the magic spot to release the lock.
So...I made another tool that I hoped would help remove the panels (as per the other link), but the right panel is blocked by the left-panel catch, and the left panel seems to have a section that extends downward and blocks its removal. Maybe I need to deform the panel more to make it work, but it seems risky.
If anyone has any specific advice and/or directions re these or other procedures, I'd appreciate them very much.
Thanks once again!
