New Clubman Owner

Hey guys,

So just purchased a 2020 Clubman All 4 S about three weeks ago to give my R53 a break, and wanted to say Hi. I've already done some cosmetic mods to the car, as in a blackout of badges, handles and headlight rings (Im leaving the belt line in chrome as I think it offsets nice.) I also threw in a Dinan replacement filter, as well as some bimmercode changes (nothing major.) The car is Midnight Black, and Im planning on doing a black on black "stealth" build if you will. The Clubby is going to be my daily, so I don't plan on going crazy as far as performance goes. Coming from a lightly modified R53, the Clubman feels lightyears ahead already in terms of performance. I just ordered a Dinan sport tuner, and will eventually do the JCW exhaust plus tune. I was just wondering if anyone has done the Dinan Intake Resonator Delete pipe, and if so is it worth it? Also if anyone has any recommendations on performance upgrades that are essential, Im more than game! Thanks in advance, and attached are a couple of pics of the car.

Welcome! Sounds like you have a performance plan, the dinan pipe is good. Boost and charge pipes and metal also. Down the road i would do maybe the intercooler also.

Thanks for the input! Just ordered the Dinan Sport tuner from you guys last night, and guess I’ll have to order the resonator delete shortly as well 😂.

I like your wheels, I just bought a set of four of those in silver as my winter wheels for my 2024 F54.

Just out of curiosity, do you have luggage tie-downs in the back cargo area? Mine didn't come with them and I was wondering what year they were abandoned.

Im thinking of doing the same as you with these wheels. Honestly can’t wait for the runflats to go bad so I can fit some Pilot 4’s and Black 18” OZ wheels.

As far as the luggage tie downs, Im not sure if these are what you’re referring to, but there are 4 metal loops at each corner of the trunk. I clipped my Mini mobility kit to one of em. I’ll attach photos for you.

Yes. Those are the tie-downs. I just installed them in my clubman. $120 worth of parts from ECS tuning.

For anyone interested, the front ones just screw in If you poke a hole in the interior trim pieces on the middle of the depression on each side. But the rear ones need a bracket installed.

That's a great idea! Missing them in my 2024. Would you mind sharing the part numbers?

Sure thing, I got my part info from this thread:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...e-package.html

Here's my order from ECS tuning:

You will be incensed that you need to buy the brackets and nuts and bolts when they could have easily welded a nut on the body and eliminated all that stuff.
