I am experiencing random air bag and seat belt alerts on my tack message and the speedo icons. I have had the timing chain , tensioner, guides replaced and misfire etc codes cleared and now have these air bag/ restrain alerts. My Schuabein code reader tells me my footwell unit is not present, audio unit faults and that I have a dash board fault. Is this some kind of embedded software trigger or do I have issues only the dealer can clear? I have read some posts in the UK with air bag icon alerts.
