Heated seats

Quick question. I currently have non-heated seats. If I get some heated seats and the stock controller can I simply swap them in? Plug n play?

No, you need the Retrofit wiring harness for adding heated seats. Mini sold a wiring kit at one time but discontinued it a couple years ago. I suppose you could create your own. Here's a link to the NLA kit:

See Mini retrofit guide here

Coding is not required.

Obviously you need the seats, the wiring harness (I have an uncut harness available if you're in need), the switch, and a 20A fuse.

The linked PDF spells everything out. relatively clearly.

Thank you. I knew there was a guide on here but I couldn’t find it.
