18 years and 150K miles of smiles. I hope the new owner enjoys her as much as I did.

So glad I chose an R53. Seems like I got her just yesterday. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-darn-r53.html

Congrats on an amazing run with your R53! You definitely made the right decision compared to a 1st year R56! What did you get as a replacement?

After a year long search, I bought a 2010 Cayman. A one owner car with 21K miles ...and its got three pedals !

The "kid" who bought the Mini asked all the right questions and new exactly what he wanted. He was looking for a late R53 build (mine was 11/06) in excellent condition ...and that's what he got. It was sad to see it drive away, but the replacement is filling in nicely.

Long live the R53. Best new car purchase I ever made.

Dean.

Condolences and congratulations! Are you on RENNLIST? It's like NAM for Porsche people.

Something tells me you won't have any problems adjusting to the drastic difference in the drag coefficient! Happy Motoring in your Porsche! 👍

I'm on Rennlist and Planet9, same username as here. I haven't posted much on either one yet. They don't seem as active as NAM. Admittedly, I haven't been active here in a long time. I'm also on several FB Cayman pages, which are quite active.

Thanks to you both. The Cayman is an absolute blast ! I'm glad I was as careful with which one to buy as I was with the Mini.
